Targeting silica undersaturated alkalic Au/Cu porphyry system
Several small historical mines produced Cu/Au/Ag within large diorite intrusion
Stream sediment, rock chip and costean sampling show 300 x up to 50m Au/Cu geochemical anomaly
Publicly available 100K map shows one diorite intrusion; multiple intrusive phases of monzonite, feldspar porphyry and diorite have been previously mapped
Geochemical anomalies open to northwest and are coincident with the aeromagnetic high that also appears to coincide with the outcropping Elgin Vale Diorite
Soil BLEG sampling defined a low-level coincident gold (20ppb) and copper (5ppm) anomaly which remains open to the northwest
